Peyto Lake is one of Alberta's promising lakes amidst its rocky terrain. It is named after Bill Peyto. Just above it can be seen Caldron's Peak. Its source of water is primarily the contribution of all the coniferous forest that surrounds the lake. Moreover, during summers, glaciers from Caldron melts that pour down to the lake.
